This was from a teaching a few weeks ago - to get the audio or video of the teaching you can go to Destiny's website.
"Today, God I thank you that my life and health are blessed by You - I thank You that you have given me supernatural health, a clear mind at peace, and ALL the blessings pertaining to Your life and godliness. There is no sickness, affliction, or suffering that can come near my dwelling – I walk in Your power God - and have exercise Your authority over the Destroyer - I have the power to discern, the power to protect, and all power that comes from being your child - and I am free - covered in the blood of Jesus. Satan I rebuke you, any influence you have over me - on my life - and over my loved ones - your power is now broken – I walk in the authority given to me through Christ, I demand the honor given to me by God, and I take hold of and command the right to my health and a blessings in Jesus for me, In Jesus name amen!"
Uncovered – The Destroyer
Offering – 2Cor. 8:7 But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
There are four strategies that Satan has in his war with believers.
Rev. 9:11 They had as king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon.
Apollyon – gr. Abaddwn – the minister of death, the author of havoc, the great destroyers
These notes are about the second strategy of "The Destroyer"
- Target – All things material
1Pet. 4:12-14 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14 If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
- Weapon – Affliction, Sickness, and Suffering
- Purpose – To cause believers give up (specifically on God’s will for their lives)
- The Believer’s Defense – God’s Supernatural Power
Power to discern
2Tim. 1:13-14 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
Power to be free
Luke 13:10-13 On a Sabbath Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, 11 and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” 13 Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
Power to know our identity in Christ
Luke 10:17-18 The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.” 18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
Luke 10:19-20 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Power to censure (rebuke) the enemy
Luke 4:33-35 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, 34 “Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!” 35 “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.
Luke 4:38-39 Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. 39 So he bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them.
Rebuke – gr epitimao - merited penalty, censure, demand honor from, and ridicule /
How can I tell if a “condition is demonic?
When there’s havoc and destruction that distracts or impairs the spiritual life of the one who is suffering.
Every believer must know their authority in Christ in order to live a victorious Christian Life.
Phil. 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
God wants us to use the authority He has given us and put it to work in every area of our lives
